RUNS 3000M AGE 14 RECORD
Jake Meyburgh of Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow has set a world age 14 best for 3000m of 8:19.46 at the British Milers’ Club Millfield PB Classic.
After running 8:24.30 in Watford a few days earlier, Meyburgh improved to beat the best known mark of 8:21.12 set by Yuta Mashiko in 2022.

Earlier this year he won the English Schools and SIAB Schools International cross-country titles and will be going for gold in July at the English Schools Track & Field Championships.
